Website Design & Development

Cheverell are an exclusive designer and manufacturer of high-quality bespoke furniture and fittings.

Whilst working for Chillifish Ltd, I designed and built the new Cheverell website, with an emphasis on a simple, architectural look and feel.

The website build involved liasing with the company's PR department to get as many key words and phrases into the website as possible, in order to optimise the website for Search Engines. Although Cheverell have not proceeded with any ongoing SEO strategies, the clean, valid XHTML code and keyword-rich copy gave the website a rankings boost on the search engines when it was first launched. The site also follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 to Priority 1 and 2 so that the website complies with the Disability Discrimination Act.
