PRIVACY POLICY

Information Collection and Use:
Jodi Head is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. I will not sell, share, or rent this information to others. I only collect information from users for gathering statistics about the website, users and traffic, or when you choose to send me your information via my enquiry form.

Log Files:
I use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use, via Google Analytics only. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Submitting an enquiry:
In order to get in touch with you regarding an enquiry that you submit through the website, I collect your name and email, and your business name if you choose to submit it. This information is used to email you regarding your enquiry. If there is a good belief that it is reasonably necessary to use it to respond to a legal process or a government request, then according to UK Law your data will be stored for up to 7 years. Otherwise, it will be deleted fully within a year during my annual email administration session.

You have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Apart from exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request. Supplementation of Information:
I do not share any information I receive from this website with any 3rd party sources.

Notification of Changes:
If I decide to change our privacy policy, I will post those changes on this page so users are always aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under circumstances, if any, I disclose it. If at any point I decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, I will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not I use their information in this different manner. I will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

 

TERMS OF BUSINESS

Jodi Head is a sole trader, trading under the name of Jodi Head: Design. Jodi Head is registered as self-employed, and does not charge VAT.

The terms and conditions which apply to all services provided by Jodi Head are as follows:

• Quotations are valid for 30 days only
• All quotations, tenders and estimates are based on current prices and are subject to amendment after acceptance to meet any rise or fall in the price of materials, components or external hosting.
• All work is supplied as specified and agreed with the client.
• If the client wishes to add extra content or features to the project not listed or agreed to in the original quotation during or after the development phase, the client will be charged for these services at Jodi Head's discretion.
• Jodi Head reserves the right to increase her fees at any time, but will give prior warning and is willing to discuss with the client first. Jodi Head may increase her fees in line with inflation.
• Jodi Head reserves the right to submit interim invoices from time to time where work is on-going in nature.
• Any images purchased for the client's website through Jodi Head on behalf of the client are strictly for use in the project only. Jodi Head will not be liable for misuse of these images by the client or any other person's copying, altering or distributing the images to individuals or other organisations.
• Jodi Head will reserve the right to terminate any contract forthwith.
• Unless alternative payment terms have been agreed, invoices must be paid within 28 days of receipt by cheque or bank transfer. If the invoice has not been paid, after 28 days a reminder and duplicate invoice will be issued. If the invoice has not been paid 7 days after the reminder, Jodi is entitled to compensation amounting to £40 per invoice plus interest (as per the The Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act 1988).
• All work is copyright Jodi Head, until full payment has been received. Work then becomes property of the agency, business or individual. Jodi Head will provide source files or artwork files, as property of the client, when requested.
• Jodi Head can use any work in her offline portfolio, unless otherwise agreed with the client
